Breathing since '89

 BUSINESS

I'm a UTAS photography student and newspaper and skate photographer.

One day last year I packed my life into my 1985 hatch-back Ford Laser and made the move to Hobart. I'm in my second year of a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree at the University of Tasmania, majoring in photography.

When I'm not shooting photos for Tasmania's best skateboarders, I'm elbowing other photographers at government doorstops as The Examiner newspaper's only Hobart-based photographer.

My photos have also been published in Tasmania's other daily newspapers - The Mercury and The Advocate - and magazines and websites, including Sauce Street Press, Slam Skate Magazine and Spress Magazine. My arty pieces have been part of exhibitions at the Devonport Regional Art Gallery, Jimmy's Skate and Street, The University of Tasmania's annual Art Rage exhibition at QVMAG and other galleries.

While I shoot news photos digitally, I have a strong interest in working with analogue cameras and film. I also like to work with scanned medium format film.

 PLEASURE

In my spare time I love skateboarding, watching re-runs of Friends, catching up with friends and listening to music.
